Why do people join an MLM Network Marketing company?

People join network marketing companies for various reasons such as:

Extra Income - For retirees like us, a home-based networking business offers a way to create an income to increase current retirement pension plan to pay for both basic and emergency expenses. The traditional job pension plan is insufficient especially for those who have not reached their full retirement age and chose not to receive social security pension because of reduction in pay.

Earning extra income is also true for stay-at-home-moms who want to augment their family income because of difficulty to make both ends meet with one paycheck, the cost of living expenses increased, need of funds to send children to college, etc.

Transition from current job into business ownership - More and more people are tired of working hard, feeling stressed out but are forced to go to work to pay bills. MLM offers a way out of a job trap because a person can start a home business part-time and then may decide to quit the full-time job later when the income from the business is adequate for their needs.

As a social activity - Having a networking type of business is a great opportunity to meet new friends through business meetings, training seminars, trade shows, conventions, etc.


As retirees, we miss the people we worked with
and our home business provides us the opportunity to meet and be around new friends.

To achieve financial freedom or dreams - It is doable for people in the networking business to create wealth if they put in the time and effort that are required to be successful just like people in a traditional business. MLM allows people to build a business and at the same time have the freedom and flexibility to pursue their life dreams.
